Examine a situation that you have found yourself in recently where you were unhappy with the outcome to determine what role fear played in the process.
1. Identify the controlling thoughts and feelings you had regarding the decision.

b. Feelings _______________________________________________________

_________________________________________________________________
2. Take the thoughts that were not supportive of your success a eliminate them.
3. Take the feelings associated with these thoughts and eliminate them as well.
4. Using only the remaining positive thoughts and feelings, think about how your process and outcome may have been different using only these thoughts and feelings to guide your course of action.
5. Now understanding what actually happened, analyze the influence that the negative thoughts and feelings had on your actual process and outcome.
6. Anchor the results of this process in your mind so that you may draw on the insight and strength you created to assist you in future crises.
