1. Tools they want

Take a few minutes to think about the tools that are used in your organization, including software, hardware, systems, production, facilities--put everything on the table.  Are there some improvements you can afford to make, that will help your employees take their minds off of what they don't have, so they can get busy with their work? Write your thoughts below.

2. Authority they seek

Do you have any newer managers or people who are looking for the next challenge, to whom you could give authority over a project or portion of a project?  Write down the people and the responsibilities you would like to give them.  Then contact them to get the ball rolling.

3. Benchmarks they can reach

Are there any projects or initiatives under your umbrella that are just beginning, or are in planning stages?  Take some time to go back through the timelines and estimated resources needed to be sure that they are realistic.  Write those projects or the portions of the projects down here and use them as a "to do" list for increasing success probabilities on these projects.
