Action Steps

1. What can you change today about how you interact with the rest of the company?  Could you eat lunch in the main cafeteria with the rest of the staff?  Walk the floor and greet people while they work?  Write down what you will do, to break out of your office and connect (or reconnect) with the organization.

2. What cultural change or paradigm shift would make a vast difference in you organization, but is difficult to convey?  Write down some ideas for your "fish story" to clearly communicate your ideas in the form of a concrete and unexpected story.

3. Are you fostering a culture of risk taking?  What are some current projects on your plate that could are stagnant, and need movement injected into them?  Write them down here, and resolve to take the first step on them this week.
